Okay so I found this list of when the "event" will be. If you remember from the past this is GREAT!!! They Double coupons up to $2.00 so that means you'll have a $4.00 savings on one item. So start saving now if your BIG coupons don't expire till then. The date is the week of APRIL 4th. Recently they have changed their rules a bit...here they are as we see it now..

I did email them to see how long the code would be active (my sister is due next month and thought it would be perfect for baby announcement's). Remember the order of couping is important..ALWAYS give this first before you give the other coupons...PLUS with the rebate you could walk out of there paying hardly anything if you plan it well. CVS Deals for week of March 7th

Here are the best deals I could find for CVS this week. There are a lot of deals this week which is great to see again...they have been slacking lately.
DON'T forget to get a card at the check out (you'll have to pay $1 initially but its a "green bag card" when you use your own recycled bag..every four times you use it you receive $1 ECB (extra Care Buck) which is great especially if you already use the recycled bags...I like to get money for something I'm already going to do anyway!!! OH and remember (I'm only saying this because someone recently told me they didn't know...but you can use ANY recycled bag....it doesn't have to be a CVS bag just a little FYI)

ALL YOU MAGIZINE deal expires Thursday!!! Great Deal!!

If you don't know about the "All you " magazine check it out!!! This is a great offer for just .70cents a magazine. Here is the link where you can read the info. I ordered this late last year and am Pleased with it. This is really a magazine with lots of COUPONS. Its really what it's its all about plus good articles about money saving tips. One month it had a good article about how to buy organic for a good price. There are homemade cleaning product articles and things like that ...but really its the coupon. So check out the link...the read about what it is and see if you are interested. Remember it will expire on Thursday eve and this offer comes rarely.

Transferring Perscriptions

Just a heads up if you haven't already seen it....this week at both the RITE AID and TARGET inserts, there are offers to transfer prescriptions to receive gift cards.
Rite aid is $25 and Target is $10

Also I have mentioned this a few times but I will tell you again...my Walgreen's told me that instead of going through all the trouble of Transferring it to another pharmacy to get the gift card they would just give me one to keep my business and to bring in the offer...
I did do this today but when I left although I was pleased to get a $25 gift card doing nothing, it dawned on me that IO wouldn't get the counter offer from Walgreen's. If your not familiar with this what happens is you transfer it to say CVS they give you the gift card offered usually $25 then about a month later Walgreen's will send you another offer to get yours business back.
If you wanna keep it simple and get the money just ask your pharmacy if they will do the same.....to honor the coupon and just give you the money. A GREAT way to make a little money!!!

Another GREAT printable coupon site!!!!

SOOO I don't think I knew about this site and in my efforts to NOT wanna by cream cheese again without a coupon (as a recipe was calling for it) I searched high and low on the Internet and found this site and I just DON"T remember it!!!

It has 400 printable coupons (that's what they say, not sure the exact total but on what I am linking you to, you'll see LOTS!!!) There are from the manufacturers websites. You'll be redirected once you click the print coupon button and you'll have to fill out your name, etc.. and then print your coupon. You CAN print these twice, so don't forget that (just reclick it after it has printed) and I suggest that you change your printing to all B&W as it takes a lot of ink on the picture it prints out either above or below the coupon.
Great site...once I find a "button" to insert on the Right of this blog with the other printable coupon sites I will...still looking for that.

What to do with Expired Coupons!!! WOW!!

So I was THRILLED To hear about this today and couldn't wait to get online tonight and check it out! My brother in law is a chief in the Navy and I know that with their children it is often a financial struggle especially when he is away. And even though this only applies to (as far as I can read) to oversees I am still thrilled. What better way to get rid of expired coupons. Every month I throw out expired coupons that I have labored to cut but most of all it seems a waste since I have learned that they are actually money!!!
So here's the deal. Go to this site OVERSEES COUPON PROGRAM read and just pick a base oversees and send expired coupons!!!! They prefer that they be NO older than two months when you do send them as the military can use them up to 6 months after. Get with some friends or your church (LADIES at BBC which one should we chose.....) and send them together. I think this is GREAT!!!! I love to give things away that I am not in need of and I LOVE to help our servicemen and to save money what more could you ask for???

Get them while they last. I love the Internet printable cereal coupons because there are always get deals on cereal and I like to get it all less than .75cents a box PLUS with the Internet coupons you don't have to buy three boxes to get $1.00 off. GREAT Kellogg's coupons!!
On the day I clip coupons I just started having my daughter make a Cheerio necklace to keep her busy then we head out and she snacks on it while we are out (not as breakfast of course but as a snack..haha) We will see how long it last but she thinks its cool so I'm looking for Cheerio deals and they have a BIG G Coupon as well. remember you can print TWO of each PER computer. I often call my husband at work if its a good coupon and he prints another two from his computer at work!

My CVS deal for today $19.27

I pretty much stuck to what was posted on the Moneysavingmom CVS deals this week bc I needed several of the things that were on sale,. However I didn't have ALL the coupons that were listed and might've had some different ones and my daughter had been patiently waiting for a battery powered toothbrush and I told her when it was on sale PLUS we had a coupon she could get it. So when she found the coupon I had to follow through even though on sale it was still $4.99, and the coupon was only 1$ off!!! Nearly a quarter what I spent! Oh well!!! There were a few other things I had to buy bc of the coupons I had and the sales. I was thrilled with the sale items this week as we just ran out of Excedrin and what not and got the Nivea lip balm for .25cents each, its been a dry winter! Everything in this picture totaled 19.27. I did two transactions in order to use my ECB's right away.

5 total Wheat Thins, Triscuts and Ritz on sale for 5 for $10.00 I had $5.00 coupons off plus got back $3.00 ECB making each box just .40cents!
4 Nivea Chapstick was on sale for $2.99 I had TWO BOGO coupons plus if you bought $10 worth you get $5 ECB so each one was .$25 cents.
2 Gillette men's body/shampoo wash on sale 4.00 I had 2/2.00 off coupons. 2 Panteen on sale for 2/$7.00 I had a $1.00 coupon off. Deal was spend $15.00 in these product's get 5ECB so each item was $1.25.
3 Excedrin totaled around 15.00 on sale. I had 5 coupons totalling 6.00 off plus get $7 ECB back. Each was .67 cents each

Gillette Deodorant on sale for 3.99 each I had a BOGO coupon plus got $1 ECB for each. each was just $1.00
1 Listerine on sale for 3.99 plus got $2 ECB. It was just 1.99.
1 On the go Cheerios for $1.00 and I had $1.00 coupon so it was free.
2 Satin Shaving gel was on clearance for 1.60 each and I had a $1.00 off each. So I got each for .60cents
1 Expensive toothbrush on sale for 4.99 plus $1.00 off coupon
I also had a $1.00 ECB from last quarter I used ( which made me feel better about the 4$ toothbrush)

Macys Sale

So I have to say I was in Macys today (Springfield) and they had an AMAZING deal on winter jackets for boys!!! I have no use for this information since I have a girl but they had GREAT deals and I always shop ahead for the next season, I got Ems last year for 90% off but it wasn't Nike or anything like that. These were NIKE winter coats (sporty and very warm) lots a different colors and originally $85.00 (yeah right) on clearance for $14.00 PLUS and extra 30% off that and then if you had a Macys card an extra 15% off that. I searched the whole store for girls but no such luck. It makes the coats less than 10 bucks!!! Wow!! I will tell you they had a lot of size 6 and 7. Not much in littler sizes and not too much in larger but TONS of those sizes. Just had to share that!!

So we will see in a couple of days what the rebate check looks like on line to determine if I will be taking the Colgate back.

2nd Transaction:

2 packs of Huggies Diapers 2 for $20-$4.00 Int coupon-$10.98 ECB earned from previous transaction= 5.02 out of pocket...BUT left with $5 ECB...so its like paying .02!!!

50% off vegetables at Linvilla again this year!!!

Just a little FYI on vegetable..... which you know we all usually resolve to eat better in the New Year anyway. Vegetables are again 50% off for the winter. Their prices are actually low as it is so I think its a great deal. I got two recycled bags filled for just 11.00 last week. Thats three large heads of romaine lettuce (what like 3.99 at Giant usually and just 2.49 here plus the 50% off took it down to 1.25 a head), a Large bag of fresh spinache, LOTS of tomatoes, a shallot, onions, green pepper....Im not totally sure what else but what a deal. This month, February, Chick-fil-a is giving free breakfast sandwiches on Tuesday morning. Check out the site to find your local store. Its supposed to be at all Delaware/Pennsylvania/New Jersey stores but I always like to call my local store and confirm things.
