How to begin with CVS

I want to forward this link to you all from my favorite bargain hunter money saving mom. Here is a brief summary of how save at CVS . Follow that link read it and email me if you have ANY questions about it!! Remember to go on line and link an email with your CVS Extra Care Bucks card so you get those great deals they email for time to time that are 3 off 15 4 off 20 5 off 25 and 5 off 30. You may think you'd never spend that kind of money at CVS BUT its amazing after the coupon plus several others AND the ECB how little you will spend!! So first thing is first, read the link above, go get your CVS Extra Care card, register your Extra care card and look for a small way to get some ECB to use ( I rarely buy something I don't need just to get the ECB, BUT Ive found that I have enjoyed trying different things too but hey if I don't have a dog or don't wear contacts Im not buying the stuff!!) Please feel free to email me any questions too. I will in the next few days send you some info on how to save at the other stores like walgreens and target (one of my favorites) if you have a store youwanna learn about email me and Ill post the info if I miss your store. Remember to post what you saved and pass the deals onto us!! I will be posting the deals for this week at some of the stores as well. Happy saving!! pass the blog on and help us all save!!

Just an example from last week to share

So I was out of Clariton D (just started using it and I think its expensive but ya gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes) and the price for a 30 count is $27.00. I got the coupon via email from CVS that was save $5 off $25 (IF you register your Extra Care card via email they will send you these offers quite frequently). So here's how the transaction went
Clariton was on sale for $19.99 and i had a $4.00 off manufacturer coupon from the Sunday paper and printed this coupon here for another $4.00 off. In the same transaction I bought the large Charmin that was on sale for $9.99 (with $2 extra care bucks coming back to me) and dawn dish detergent that was on sale for 2 for $2.00 (with $1.00 Extra care buck coming to me). I had Two .20 cents off dawn manufacturer coupons I got from the Sunday paper. The order came to $33.90. I first gave them the $5 off $25, then the two clariton coupons for $4.00 each, then I gave them two .20 cents off coupons for the Dawn. The total was $18.58 with $3 ECB that were printed on my receipt. I then did another transaction (I was short on money and wanted to use the ECB right away). The second order was 4 boxes of Kellogg's cereal. They were one sale for $4.49 BOGO (Buy one get one free), Two packages of Kebler Sandies cookies on sale 2/4.00. The order came to 12.98. I used two 1.00 off each package of cookies I got from the internet (the same link as above), I used 4 $1.00 each cereal box from here and I also had 1 manufacturer coupon for an additional $1.50 off if I bought two boxes. I then used my $3.00 ECB I had earned on the previous transaction my total I paid was $2.38. Both orders totaled $20.96. So I figure I was going in there to spend $20 on clariton and felt like I got the rest free in a sense (not to mention I was out of those things in the first place) I was thrilled!!! Here it is broken down a bit better so you can "see" it better...
