Dollar Coupon Doublers at Giant this week!!

If you don't usually shop at Giant or don't get their flyer you may not know this but Giant has Dollar Doublers this week. You can double those dollar coupons and use up to four per order. I say this because the coupons say use up to four per household but I have asked and as long as its 4 per order. You have to spend at least $15 to be able to use the coupons as well. IF you did not get the flyer in the mail I have been to three different Giants during this sale and have gone straight to the customer service counter and asked for the doublers (like I said there were 4 attached to the flyer) Happy saving.

FREE Milk at Giant with purchase of Kellogg's cereal

Giant is running a great offer that I found out about last week when I got one of those advertisements printed out with my receipt (this offer does NOT require a coupon to get the free milk, its simply a purchase it and you'll get a coupon for free milk printed out) The offer is good through April 1oth. Buy 3-4 boxes of Kellogg's cereal and get one gallon of free Milk...buy 5-6 boxes get two gallons free and buy 7+ boxes and get THREE free gallons of milk. All the boxes have to be in the SAME order and it is a coupon that prints out so you can use it on your next order (for thsi I just made it two transactions because I needed to Milk). So if you had three free gallons it would come out in three seperate coupons. I think I had until late April to use the coupon too, so it wasn't something that I had to use right away.

Oh and this was ANY BRAND milk valued UP to $4.29.
I got all of this for just $13.28

This is a great series of articles/posts that Money Saving Mom has written about saving money at the grocery store. When I talk to other moms and ladies the common first money saving "issue" is not wanting to or not having time to run around in order to save money. I think whether you have one child or 5 no one wants to run around and no one has "extra" time. We are busy with our families regardless of size and we are busy in our homes. I'm so excited about this. There is finally a place where we can go and check on our local national chain store to see the great deals. I think we have all gotten the "hang" of saving money at the drug stores and we have more toothpaste and shampoo in our house where I often contimplate what receipes I can make with these items....or to donate to charity. Which is GREAT!! I love it and I love giving it away. We also know we can really save on Cereal and snacks at the drug store but what about the rest...well go here to see your local national chain grocery store and the deals. Money saving mom has been working on this and its just great. Be patient as there are still kinks to be worked out. But they have our East Coast/PA stores...Pathmark, Giant, Acme, Shop Rite etc... When will the next Kmart Double coupon day be you ask???

Okay so I found this list of when the "event" will be. If you remember from the past this is GREAT!!! They Double coupons up to $2.00 so that means you'll have a $4.00 savings on one item. So start saving now if your BIG coupons don't expire till then. The date is the week of APRIL 4th. Recently they have changed their rules a bit...here they are as we see it now..

Here are the best deals I could find for CVS this week. There are a lot of deals this week which is great to see again...they have been slacking lately.
DON'T forget to get a card at the check out (you'll have to pay $1 initially but its a "green bag card" when you use your own recycled bag..every four times you use it you receive $1 ECB (extra Care Buck) which is great especially if you already use the recycled bags...I like to get money for something I'm already going to do anyway!!! OH and remember (I'm only saying this because someone recently told me they didn't know...but you can use ANY recycled bag....it doesn't have to be a CVS bag just a little FYI)

ALL YOU MAGIZINE deal expires Thursday!!! Great Deal!!

If you don't know about the "All you " magazine check it out!!! This is a great offer for just .70cents a magazine. Here is the link where you can read the info. I ordered this late last year and am Pleased with it. This is really a magazine with lots of COUPONS. Its really what it's its all about plus good articles about money saving tips. One month it had a good article about how to buy organic for a good price. There are homemade cleaning product articles and things like that ...but really its the coupon. So check out the link...the read about what it is and see if you are interested. Remember it will expire on Thursday eve and this offer comes rarely.

Transferring Perscriptions

Just a heads up if you haven't already seen it....this week at both the RITE AID and TARGET inserts, there are offers to transfer prescriptions to receive gift cards.
Rite aid is $25 and Target is $10

Also I have mentioned this a few times but I will tell you again...my Walgreen's told me that instead of going through all the trouble of Transferring it to another pharmacy to get the gift card they would just give me one to keep my business and to bring in the offer...
I did do this today but when I left although I was pleased to get a $25 gift card doing nothing, it dawned on me that IO wouldn't get the counter offer from Walgreen's. If your not familiar with this what happens is you transfer it to say CVS they give you the gift card offered usually $25 then about a month later Walgreen's will send you another offer to get yours business back.
If you wanna keep it simple and get the money just ask your pharmacy if they will do the same.....to honor the coupon and just give you the money. A GREAT way to make a little money!!!
